For its new mobility concept, Daiichi Sankyo Europe has been awarded with the „Business Travel Award 2015“ by the Travel Industry Club. The decision was based on the innovative, economic and sustainable approach of the concept. The initiative is planned to be implemented in the upcoming fiscal year and is designed to offer employees a dedicated mobility budget that can be spent on the transportation means of their choice.
Michael Müller, project owner and Head of Mobility & Facilities at Daiichi Sankyo Europe, explains: “Our goal is to switch to a mobility strategy that is good for our employee’s health, good for the environment and time efficient. The amount of our employees’ mobility budget depends on their chosen transportation options. Simply put: The more sustainable and healthy the mobility-mix is, the higher the mobility budget will be.”
